We're Skindeep Clinic – Nurse owned and led, results driven, industry leading, scientifically based skin treatment located in Gisborne. We believe that a holistic view of the client's health (including wellbeing and lifestyle) are the building blocks of healthy skin. We are dedicated to providing exceptional skincare services and treatments to our valued clientele. To do this, we incorporate the latest technological advancements in our treatments including RF microneedling, Dermapen4, LED light, microdermabrasion, Stella M22 IPL, SplendorX Laser hair reduction, Peels, Osmosis MD and Inskin.Co skincare. 

The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Skin Therapist to join our team on a permanent basis. Our Clinic operates Monday to Friday (9am-5.30pm or 10.00am -6.30pm).  Hours can be flexible.

As a Skin Therapist at Skindeep Clinic, you will be responsible for delivering a range of skincare treatments and services, including but not limited to:

  • Conducting comprehensive skin analysis and consultations.

  • Designing and implementing customised, bespoke treatment plans to address various skin concerns utilising the latest technology and products.

  • Performing advanced skincare procedures such as peels, microdermabrasion, microneedling, dermaplaning, LED, IPL treatments, and other advanced skin treatments such as Radio Frequency.

  • Educating clients on skincare routines and recommending suitable homecare products.

  • Maintaining accurate client records and documenting treatment progress.

  • Continuously staying up-to-date with industry advancements and attending relevant training sessions.

 

We’re Looking for a Skin Therapist who…

  • Holds a recognized qualification in beauty therapy, level 5 equivalent or CIDESCO< CIBTAC and/or ITEC .

  • Possesses knowledge and experience in advanced skincare treatments and procedures including IPL, Microneedling & Peels. 

  • Demonstrates expertise in conducting skin assessments and designing customized treatment plans.

  • Has a strong understanding of skincare products, ingredients, and their effects on the skin.

  • Uses excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients effectively.

  • Have the ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to a positive work environment.

  • Holds a passion for continued learning and professional development.

  • Has no health ailments that would restrict your performance or ability to work.
